                            ABOUT PAT

The cornerstone of Pat's success is her career commitment to the pursuit of excellence in the practice of law for her clients.  As a sole practitioner, she is able to and does treat you as a person, not a billing account number.  She will consult with you, listen to your issues, and  explain the options available to achieve your legal objectives.   If you should wish to seek to avoid court litigation, she will be able to suggest other available options that she can help you with.  When you hire Pat to be your attorney, she will work to try to achieve your goals, inform you of your legal rights, keep you up-to-date on the status of your case, and respond quickly and answer promptly questions and inquiries.

Pat has been the President of the District of Columbia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (DCACDL) for three years, and was recently elected by the District of Columbia Bar Association to a three year term on the Criminal Justice and Individual Rights Steering Committee.  She previously served as Vice President and 8 year board member of the DCACDL, and as Vice President and a 10 year active member of the D.C. Superior Court Trial Lawyers Association (SCTLA).  She is also active in the court-appointed Criminal Justice Act panels in DC, in the Federal District Courts in Greenbelt and Baltimore, and in several Maryland counties including Anne Arundel, Caroline, Queen Anne and Kent Counties.

Directions: From Route 50, take exit 23 (Parole/450) and follow the signs for Route 450 West.  Doing so, you will turn left onto Defense Highway.  The office is about one mile after you turn, on your left. There is free parking in front of the building.

Directions: The office is near the intersection of 5th Street, NW and directly across from the D.C. Superior Courthouse on Indiana Avenue, and just a short distance to the Federal District Court for the District of Columbia.  The DC location is convenient to both the Judiciary Square (Red Line) and Navy-Archives (Yellow/Green Line) Metro stops. There is parking on the street in the area, and in private lots on 6th street between Pennsylvania Avenue and Indiana Avenue.
